A support group in Montreal, Qc, for local women dealing with hereditary cancer mutations. We meet on the second Tuesday of every month at the YMHA on Westbury from 7 to 9 pm. PLEASE JOIN US!
As per Facebook's own community standard rules: "we always allow photos of women showing breasts with post-mastectomy scarring."
That however is NOT the case. Facebook has been removing these images of breast cancer patients and BRCA mutation carriers. This is NOT ACCEPTABLE.
I have reached out to Facebook on numerous occasions but nothing is being done. I am in the process of contacting media sources nationally with the hopes that this will STOP.
